Practical, confidential telehealth sessions for stress, anger, relationships, and the stuff you've been handling on your own for too long. Based in Ohio. No insurance company in the room.
Telehealth only, currently serving clients located in Ohio.
Video coming soon — a short hello from William Ritt goes here.
Sessions are goal-focused. We figure out what isn't working, build a plan, and check whether it's actually working. Most weeks you'll leave with something concrete to try, not just a lighter mood.
Not sure what counseling even involves? Here's the honest, no-jargon version of how this goes from a first call to done.
15 minutes, free. You tell me what's going on and what you want different. I tell you honestly if this is a fit.
We map out the problem in detail, set a concrete goal, and start using specific tools — not just talking around it.
Weekly or every other week. Short check-in on what's changed, practice a skill, leave with something to try.
When the goal's met, we space sessions out and stop — not an open-ended commitment.
This practice doesn't bill insurance directly. Instead, you pay for sessions yourself and get an itemized receipt — a superbill — that you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A card on file is charged after each visit. No waiting on insurance to process anything.
An itemized receipt with your diagnosis and service codes, sent automatically after each session.
Upload it to your insurer's portal, mail it in, or use an app like Mentaya, Reimbursify or Thrizer to submit it for you.
If your plan has out-of-network mental health benefits, you get a percentage back — after your deductible is met.
Diagnosis code — required for any insurance reimbursement, in-network or out. It goes on your permanent insurance record, which is worth knowing upfront.
CPT code — the standardized code for "what happened." 90837 is a full 60-minute individual session; 90834 is 45 minutes.
NPI & license number — how your insurer verifies I'm a real, licensed provider.
"Paid in full" — you already paid this. The superbill is just documentation to request money back, not a bill.
Simple, flat rates, listed up front — most practices make you book a call just to find out what they charge. A superbill is generated automatically after every paid session.
These rates reflect specialized, licensed private-pay counseling delivered by telehealth — priced in line with niche private-pay practices in Ohio, without office overhead built in.
If yours isn't here, bring it to the free consult.
It's an itemized receipt — your diagnosis, the service code, the date and the fee — formatted so your insurance company can process it for out-of-network reimbursement. You submit it; I don't bill your insurer directly.
Going private-pay means no diagnosis requirements dictated by a panel, no session limits set by a claims reviewer, and a lot less overhead — which keeps rates predictable and scheduling flexible. The trade-off is that you're responsible for submitting the superbill yourself if you want reimbursement.
For most of what shows up here — stress, anger, relationship strain, depression, anxiety — research finds telehealth counseling gets comparable results to in-person. It also means no commute and no waiting room.
The free 15-minute call is just to see if it's a fit — what's going on, what you want different, and how I work. If we move forward, the first full session is mostly getting the picture: what's happening, what you've already tried, and what a useful outcome looks like to you.
Yes, with the standard exceptions any licensed clinician follows — risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else, or abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. I'll walk through this clearly before we start.
Adult men, 18 and up, individual sessions, currently located in Ohio. If you're outside Ohio or looking for couples or family work, I can point you toward a referral.
Fifteen minutes, by phone or video. Tell me what's going on and what you're hoping is different in a few months — I'll tell you honestly whether this is a fit.
